So you love but have never ventured away from your local lakes and rivers? Well now is probably the time for you to forget about all that small and get your gear together and get ready for some intense in Spain.

Spain is a beautiful country and no doubt has some of the best in Europe, meaning that you are going to want to do it, your not wrong it is quite a far way to go just to do some fishing. But believe me in Spain is really, really worth it.

One of the main rivers in Spain is the river Ebro and is one of the best rivers in Europe. This river offers so many different types of for all age groups and all types of fisher. The river contains so many different types of fish and so many of them that it needs to be seen otherwise you will not believe me. The river contains crucian carp, barbel, American black bass, zander and the almighty wells catfish. There are many more which are contained in the river but the above are examples of some of the most beautiful fish in the river, the river also contains untold amounts of mullet which most of the fish feed on.

Fishing in Spain has become so popular over the last decade that everyone seems to be going out there to try their hand at it, but by far the best type of out there that I have encountered is the wells catfish. These fish are absolutely massive and many are caught every day especially on the river Ebro where this seems to be the specialty. You will not find more catfish in any other European river. These

catfish get a 9 month growing season which along with the weather and habitat make this river the best place these fish could be, hence why there are so many.

Whilst you may just want to sit there in Spain all day you are going to need some accommodation even though you won�t want to be away from the river for more than 5 minutes. But anyway Spain offers some fantastic villas and bungalows that you can stay in which are all top quality and relatively cheap and can be included in your holiday package.

Basically in Spain is just going to get better and better so why not be a part of it and go away and try it, you will not regret it and will more than likely be begging to go back again, the good thing about this is that in Spain can be done practically every day of the year and still provide brilliant results. With the weather staying nice for pretty much all of summer and still being quite nice in the winter months you will want to try in Spain in all weathers so you will be craving more and more as the is so fun and intense.
